ProKart is an indoor/outdoor go kart track located in Maple Grove, MN. In the summer, the building opens up to connect to the outdoor track, which can double the track size. The staff will show you the fastest racing line if a racer wants to learn the track. All the Go Kart seats and pedals are fully adjustable to maximize comfort.
ProKart Indoors in Burnsville has one of the nicest-looking tracks in Minnesota. Unlike ProKart in Maple Grove, the track does not expand to the outside in the summer. Interestingly, both ProKarts are separate companies, meaning the annual membership and ProSkill do not transfer between locations. Their rental karts have a metal bar around them, which makes impacts against walls and other karts painful. They also have stringent rules, which can degrade the experience.
Stockholm Karting Center has a .65-mile-long outdoor track with 14 turns. Unlike the previous two tracks, they allow racers to bring their own karts or rent them. All their rental karts are similarly tuned, and is a consistent driving experience between karts. Sadly, there is no timing system to precisely track each lap time for the rental karts.
Located at the Road America racetrack, the Briggs & Stratton Motor Plex allows people to race go karts racing during an actual car race! Sometimes, racers will have the opportunity to race against professional racers or their pit crew. Their large outdoor track has multiple configurations, allowing racers to rent or bring their own karts. Unfortunately, some rental karts are significantly slower than others, resulting in slower lap times.
Orlando Karting center has one of Orlando, Florida's best go karting tracks. It is a large track where racers can bring their own kart or rent them. Throughout the year, they host various events, including a 12-hour endurance race. Unlike the previous two tracks, they have an advanced timing system for tracking the lap time of all the rental karts. During the race, they have a display that allows racers to see their current kart speed.
